| THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST The full plan of God’s salvation for mankind involves two advents of Christ. His first advent to redeem the world is now generally accepted as a historical fact; despite controversy from various factions (Matthew 28 v 9-15) His second advent is still awaited and will be a personal return of Jesus Christ. THE ANTICHRIST INTRODUCTION. As with the second coming of Christ this subject has been the centre of much debate. With the main points being, where will the antichrist rise and will he be one specific person or a power behind a state that will be given over completely to the power of Satan. I believe it is extremely important that Christians today especially in Europe understand what the bible teaches about the antichrist. Because I believe that the spirit of antichrist is already powerfully at work in Europe and the way that events will turnout will depend on the church as to whether we are able to deal with this spiritual force or whether it will over come us. I personally believe that this question has not been answered. |
